National Donor Day, February 14th, 2015
We’re very proud to announce that a U.S. flag was flown over the Capitol in Washington, D.C., on National Donor Day, Feb. 14, 2015, in honor of the dedicated Mayo Clinic Transplant Team in Arizona and the patients and caregivers at Help In Healing Home.
The flag flown was at the request of U.S. Rep. Ann Kirkpatrick of Arizona, and is proudly displayed in the Help In Healing Home, together with a certificate signed by the Architect of the Capitol.
Pictured with the flag are current guests at Help In Healing Home, Claudia and Philip Brown, from Henderson, Nevada, who were also guests at Brusally Ranch in the very early days of the Arizona Transplant House. Claudia is a patient at Mayo Clinic and is undergoing a stem cell transplant, and her husband, Philip, is her caregiver.
We honor the Mayo Clinic Transplant Team and all our guests and their caregivers, past and present.
